Sample Tour 2 - The Grand Tour
1 Week Golf Tour
9am pickup at Glasgow airport and transfer to The Westin Turnberry Golf Course and Hotel Resort, where you will spend the 1st two nights of your stay.
Lunch at one of the hotels restaraunts before teeing off on the 1st round of your trip on the par 72, 6861 yard Kintyre course. After the round it's back to the hotel for dinner in the Tappie Toorie restaraunt and your evening can be finished off in the whisky bar.
An am pickup after breakfast and heading off to play the Par 71, 6289 yards Portland course in the morning. Then stopping for lunch in the clubhouse before heading back out to play the par 71, 7150 yards Royal Troon Old Course which features the famous 8th hole "The Postage Stamp". Afterwards returning back to the Turnberry hotel and dinner in the Turnberry Restaraunt and maybe another trip to the "whisky bar"
After breakfast you will head out to play the Ailsa course with its Par 71, 6796 yards featuring some of the most stunning views you will ever see on a golf course
Wednesday afternoon after lunch we leave Turnberry and head the short distance up to the home of the Open Championship, the Par 71, 6544 yard world famous Prestwick golf course where you will tee off in the early afternoon.
Afterwards we will leave Prestick and head to the 5 star Gleneagles resort
Arriving early Wednesday evening you will have 2 nights in the hotel with dinner shortly after arrival in one of the award winning restaraunts, before visiting the bar for a few drinks.
After a full scottish breakfast you can use the hotel facilities for a swim, sauna or spa treatment before playing the "Wee course" which is a Par 27, 9 hole warm up round before your afternoon round on The Par 70, 6471 yard Kings course, featuring the 17th hole appropriately named 'Warslin Lea' meaning 'Wrestling Ground' which sums up the problems many golfers have had with this long par 4.
Afterwards we return to the hotel for dinner and again using the hotel facilities and visiting the house bar.
After breakfast you can play 18 holes on the par 68, 5965 yard Queen's course before heading to the clubhouse for some lunch and heading back out in the afternoon to play on...
The PGA Centenary course which will stage the 2014 Ryder Cup, reaching over 7000 yards it is the longest inland course in the whole of Scotland and has a challenging par 70 18 holes to test you to your limits.
Depart Gleneagles late Friday afternoon and heading onto the home of golf, St Andrews.
You will spend the final 3 nights of your trip in the 5 star St Andrews Old Course Hotel.
Your time at St.Andrews can be split up to include a variety of activities such as:
- A half day visiting the British golf museum in St. Andrews
- A half day driving experience at Knockhill a short distance from St.Andrews where you will race on Scotlands premier race circuit, many different types of packages available from go-karting to rally to single seater action.
- And ofcourse the golf
On average you can fit in between 4 and 5 rounds on the biggest courses that are in the local area, starting off with the one and only Old Course (subject to ballot)
There are six more courses in the St Andrews links course list which are: The New Course, Eden, Jubilee, Balgove, Strathyrum & Castle courses and there are also the Kingsbarns and the Dukes courses aswell, you really are spoiled for choice in the home of golf.
Depart for Glasgow airport
There really is so much to do, this sample tour is based on us being there for you at every turn, from picking you up on arrival to sorting your accommodation and rounds of golf, arranging trips to whisky distilleries anything your group desires before saying goodbye at the airport for your flight home.
Scotland also has 5 race courses and should you like a day at the sport of kings we will check what is on when you are in the country and sort you something out where possible. Alternativley there is fishing, clay pigeon shooting, tours of lochs and castles, we are commited on making sure you get the absoloute most out of your trip.

- Knockhill driving experience (it is your choice, it can be booked for you and added onto total)
